ERIH lancia la Call for Papers per la Conferenza Annuale in programma per il mese di ottobre a Gand, nella speranza che l’incontro sia possibile. In alternativa la conferenza si terrà online.

Cari membri e amici di ERIH,

in allegato la Call for Papers per la Conferenza annuale ERIH 2020, in programma dal 7 al 9 ottobre 2020 a Gand, in Belgio.
Tutti coloro che sono interessati al patrimonio industriale europeo e alla sua protezione e promozione saranno consapevoli del forte impatto di Covid-19 sul vostro nostro lavoro e le nostre attività. Tuttavia, con ottimismo, non vediamo l’ora e speriamo ancora che la nostra Conferenza annuale a Gand possa procedere come previsto e in effetti fornire un’opportunità per festeggiare e riunirci di nuovo. Parallelamente stiamo pianificando una Conferenza ERIH 2020 online, nel caso in cui non sia possibile incontrarsi ad ottobre. La decisione è prevista per luglio.
Stiamo lanciando questo invito a presentare i vostri papers come una dichiarazione di intenti positiva in questo momento di incertezza.
Non vediamo l’ora di ricevere le vostre proposte entro il 22 giugno 2020.

Dear ERIH Members and Friends,
Please find enclosed the Call for Papers for the ERIH Annual Conference 2020, scheduled 7 to 9 October 2020 in Ghent, Belgium.
All those interested in European Industrial Heritage and its protection and promotion will be aware of the massive impact of Covid-19 on your work and our activities. However we are looking forward with optimism and still hope our Annual Conference in Ghent can proceed as planned and in fact provide an opportunity to celebrate and come together again. In parallel we are planning an Online ERIH Conference 2020, in case it will not be possible to meet in October. The decision is planned to be taken in July.
We are issuing this call for papers as a positive statement of intent at this time of uncertainty.
We are looking forward to receiving your proposals by 22nd June 2020 the latest.

Liebe ERIH Mitglieder und Freunde,
in der Anlage senden wir Ihnen den “Call for Papers” für die ERIH Jahreskonferenz 2020, die vom 7. bis 9. Oktober 2020 in Gent, Belgien geplant ist.
All diejenigen, die sich mit Europäischer Industriekultur beschäftigen, wissen um die massiven Einschnitte für Sie als Kulturakteure und uns als Netzwerk durch Covid-19. Wir möchten aber dennoch optimistisch in die Zukunft schauen und hoffen, dass die ERIH Jahreskonferenz im Oktober wie geplant stattfinden kann und uns allen die Möglichkeit für ein Wiedersehen, Austausch und gemeinsames Feiern gibt. Parallel dazu planen wir eine Online Konferenz, falls das Treffen in Gent nicht möglich sein wird. Die Entscheidung darüber wird voraussichtlich im Juli getroffen werden können.
Wir möchten mit diesem Aufruf ein positives Zeichen in diesen schwierigen Zeiten setzen und freuen uns auf Ihre Vorschläge bis spätestens 22. Juni 2020.
